The decoration of Riad Fez Yamanda exudes an authentic Moroccan charm that made me feel like I was stepping back in time. The traditional elements, from the ornate tiles to the intricately carved ceilings, created a beautiful and welcoming atmosphere. The general areas, especially the courtyard and rooftop terrace, were well-maintained and provided a peaceful oasis to relax and enjoy the view. As a senior woman, I appreciated that the hotel had easy accessibility, with spacious hallways and handrails in certain areas, ensuring a comfortable stay.
The only thing I would ask for to make the vacation even better for senior people is for the children working there to be more attentive and proactive in providing assistance or support when needed.

The Riad is very nice. All details taken care of. Good restoration! Rooms are very cleaned, with big soft cuddling beds with embroidered linen!! The people at the reception are very nice, always very polite and ready to help! It was like a family environment! Charming place!

We were the only guests and were upgraded to the best suite, the manager hooked us up with an excellent guide for our day tour through the Medina, his assistant invited us to break the Ramadan fast with us, personally guided us to a lovely French restaurant hidden in the Medina, and we were generally treated very well.
Our only comment would be a more varied breakfast would be more suited to Western expectations.

We had a very pleasant stay at Riad Fez Yamanda. The staff was very helpful and spoke English. It was also one of the most luxurious Riads where we stayed during our visit to Morocco. I highly recommend this Riad to visitors to Fes. Location is also very central; near to Bab Boujloud.

I keep coming back to this perfect place for my city break. The helpful staff guided me to good exchange rates on my first stay. With Wi-Fi, luggage storage, and a fitness center, this place has everything I need. Plus, the massages and outdoor dining area are fantastic.

The suite at Riad Fez Yamanda was absolutely amazing! It was so spacious and had a super comfy king-size bed. The lounge area was perfect for watching TV and relaxing. The private bathroom with the hydromassage shower was a real treat. I felt like royalty!
Although the suite had a terrace, I personally would have preferred a view of the city instead. It's just my opinion though, others might enjoy the patio view.

The Riad has an amazing foyer. The manager speaks very good English and the rooms are excellent and clean. The view from the roof top terrace is amazing and there are two rooms up there that are fantastic if you are happy to make the climb but all riads are like that and if you are traveling through Morocco they are most interesting places to stay. Breakfast also was beautiful. We learnt while stating in Medinas to call ahead and ask to be met at train or plane and be taken to Riad as some are very difficult to find as you are always on foot. This Riad was great and we all has a great time .

In the site it is written that there is an hammam but this is not true.

Location is relatively easy to reach in the Medina. Hotel is nicely decorated but for a family with old people it is difficult to climb the upper rooms. Bathtubs are not practical. Breakfast was good, road was quiet. Staff was ok but they were able to provide a map for the medina.

We were blown away by the exceptional service and prime location of this hotel. The staff, especially Youseff, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and accommodated. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast was delicious. Additionally, we loved the hotel's location in the center of the medina rush, making it easy to see all the main areas of the medina and be close to everything we wanted to see.
All was good.

Beautiful lobby. We were upgraded to a larger room for no additional cost.
Bad smell from bathroom. Roof terrace poorly kept and dinner at hotel was overpriced for quality. We booked a tour guide through the hotel and we were assured he was a licensed guide. It turned out he wasn't licensed and he did a poor job of being our guide.
